Our products

Coverage for every part of life after 65.

Medicare plans are the center of what we do. We also help protect your savings and your family with Long-Term Care, Life, Dental, Vision and Hospital Indemnity coverage. We'll explain your options in plain English, and our help costs you nothing.

Medicare

Medicare Supplements (Medigap)

A Medicare Supplement pays some or all of what Original Medicare (Parts A and B) leaves for you to pay: deductibles, coinsurance and copays. You can see any doctor or hospital in the country that accepts Medicare, with no networks and no referrals.

Plans are identified by letter. The benefits of each letter are set by federal law, so a Plan G from one company covers exactly the same things as a Plan G from another. The difference is the price, and prices for the same plan can vary a lot between companies. That's why we compare them for you.

Medicare

Medicare Advantage (Part C)

Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. They replace Original Medicare with a single plan that usually includes prescription drug coverage, and often dental, vision and hearing benefits as well.

Advantage plans use a network of doctors and hospitals (HMO or PPO). You pay copays as you use services, up to a yearly out-of-pocket maximum. Many have low or $0 monthly premiums. The plans available to you depend on your county, so we check which ones include your doctors and your prescriptions before you choose.

Medicare

Prescription Drug Plans
(Part D)

Part D plans cover prescription drugs for people with Original Medicare, usually alongside a Medicare Supplement. Each plan has its own list of covered drugs, pricing tiers and preferred pharmacies, so the right plan depends on exactly what you take.

Two plans with similar premiums can differ by hundreds of dollars a year once your prescriptions are counted. We run your drug list against every plan in your area and show you the lowest total yearly cost, including premiums, deductibles and copays.

Beyond Medicare

Long-Term Care

Medicare pays for very little long-term care. It doesn't cover help with everyday activities like bathing and dressing at home, in assisted living or in a nursing home over the long term. Long-term care insurance helps pay those costs so they don't come out of your savings or fall on your children.

We work with traditional long-term care companies and with life insurance companies that include long-term care benefits. Coverage is easier to qualify for and costs less the younger and healthier you are when you apply.

Beyond Medicare

Life Insurance

Life insurance after 65 is usually about leaving things in order : paying final expenses, settling debts, or leaving something for a spouse, children or grandchildren. Final expense policies are smaller whole life plans designed to cover funeral and burial costs, often with simple health questions and no medical exam.

We also help with larger policies for people who want to leave an inheritance or replace income for a surviving spouse.

Beyond Medicare

Dental

Original Medicare doesn't cover routine dental care: cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns or dentures. A standalone dental plan covers preventive visits and helps pay for bigger work, which becomes more common with age.

Some Medicare Advantage plans include dental benefits. If yours does, we'll help you check whether those benefits are enough or whether a separate plan makes sense.

Beyond Medicare

Vision

Original Medicare covers eye care for medical conditions like cataracts and glaucoma, but not routine eye exams, glasses or contact lenses. A vision plan helps pay for a yearly exam and new frames and lenses.

Vision coverage is often paired with a dental plan, and some Medicare Advantage plans include it.

Beyond Medicare

Hospital Indemnity

A hospital indemnity plan pays you a set cash amount for each day you're in the hospital. The money goes to you, not to the hospital, and you can use it for anything: copays, travel, bills at home or a family member's time off.

These plans are especially useful with Medicare Advantage, where hospital stays come with daily copays. They're simple, affordable, and help to close the gaps left by your primary plan.
